What is Dr. Newman’s background and training?

Dr. Walter Newman is a native of San Francisco and did his undergraduate studies at Stanford University and medical school training at The University of California, San Francisco.(UCSF).

He has lived and practiced in San Jose for his entire professional career. Dr. Newman has served on the voluntary clinical faculty at Stanford Medical School since 1985.

What insurances do you accept?

We accept most health insurance providers, such as Blue Cross, Blue Shield, United Health, Union Health Trusts, and others. We are not affiliated with any HMOs. Please bring a copy of your insurance card to your first appointment.

How can I learn more about your practice?

We invite you to contact us to arrange a complimentary “get acquainted visit.” We look forward to meeting you and greeting you!

What if I have no insurance or a very high deductible?

We have extremely affordable individual office visits.

Must I come in every time I am sick or do you provide email, phone consultations, and tele-medicine?

We realize you are busy and usually don’t have time to trot to the doctor’s office every time you have a question or need medication called in. We are happy to announce our “Platinum/concierge service” for those on the go.
